The majority of clinics here in the US focus on containing or managing symptoms and not ferreting out and dealing with underlying causes & contributors to a patient’s distress. As a result patients wind up with a drug for each symptom and a host of others to offset the side-effects of these! Dr. David Steenblock, who was originally trained as a pathologist (medical detective), is better equipped than most physicians to zero in on the precise causes & major contributors to each patient’s ill health, and then effectively deal with them. However, rather than rely primarily on pharmaceuticals he favors gentle, natural products that support the body’s own innate healing mechanisms. But, unlike others doing holistic medicine, he possesses a depth of knowledge and experience that is unrivaled in the field. In fact, he set up the very first modern holistic medical practice west of the Mississippi over forty years ago and since then has built up a body of knowledge and insight that truly is unmatched anywhere. In addition, he is a world class authority on how to identify and remove toxic influences & other things that impede or retard each patient’s recovery & restoration. And, being a medical trailblazer by nature, he has created an endless succession of truly novel and highly effective methods for getting healing results, even in people who have failed to respond to the “latest & greatest” that other doctors have tried. One of his medical innovations is the whole bone marrow transplant in which he harvests a patient’s own stem cell-rich bone marrow and gives it back to them! If you are wrestling with a medical problem that you’ve been told you must live with, why not find out what Dr. Steenblock can do to kick start your healing? Don’t let age-related mental decline overtake you
In a paper recently published in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings and summarized by ScienceDaily, neurologist J. Eric Ahlskog a shared this about a Mayo Clinic study on whether exercise helps prevent dementia:
“We culled through all the scientific literature we could find on the subject of exercise and cognition, including animal studies and observational studies, reviewing over 1,600 papers, with 130 bearing directly on this issue. We attempted to put together a balanced view of the subject. We concluded that you can make a very compelling argument for exercise as a disease-modifying strategy to prevent dementia and mild cognitive impairment, and for favorably modifying these processes once they have developed.”
There are many other ways to stave off dementia as well as to thwart age-related cognitive declines. Dr. David Steenblock is well-versed and experienced in artfully figuring out which fits a particular patient’s needs and then introducing them. If you are beginning to experience “old age memory” issues get the help needed to nip the process in the bud: Call Dr. Steenblock. He is offering consultations you can take advantage of by calling 1-800-300-1063.
Have you been misdiagnosed? Misdiagnoses are fairly common.
Have you been Misdiagnosed? Come see Dr. Steenblock
Have you ever wondered how often doctors misdiagnose? One on-line report that delves in to this is titled “How Common is Misdiagnosis?” and appears on WrongDiagnosis.Com. Here is one salient portion from that insightful piece:
The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) commissioned a phone survey in 1997 to review patient opinions about medical mistakes. Of the people reporting a medical mistake (42%), 40% reported a “misdiagnosis or treatment error”, but did not separate misdiagnosis from treatment errors. Respondents also reported that their doctor failed to make an adequate diagnosis in 9% of cases, and 8% of people cited misdiagnosis as a primary causal factor in the medical mistake. Loosely interpreting these facts gives a range of 8% to 42% rate for misdiagnoses.

I’m not here to knock doctors for being fallible. It is, after all, a “universal affliction” among our species. Of course, the consequences of physician misdiagnoses exact a toll in the sense of wrong treatments implemented and right treatments delayed or never done. Some on the receiving end of wrong diagnoses no doubt suffer terribly due to being misdiagnosed and I’m sure some wind up prematurely deceased. And while new and better diagnostic tests, equipment and software promise to help drive the rate of misdiagnosis steadily downward, it is doubtful that this will totally eliminate it. After all, making a diagnosis requires not just test results, but their interpretation by a skilled physician who draws on his education, experience and professional judgment.
To my way of thinking, one sure way for a doctor to set a course to becoming a first rate diagnostician is to spend the early part of his career in pathology, which is a medical specialty devoted to the study and diagnosis of disease. USC’s Keck School of Medicine Department of Pathology website puts it this way: ‘Pathology is a medical specialty that provides the scientific foundation for all medical practice. The pathologist works with each of the clinical specialties, using the tools of laboratory medicine to provide information essential to problem solving in clinical practice. As such, the pathologist is the “doctors’ doctor.”’
One physician who actually became a pathologist before venturing into medical practice was none other than this blog sites’ namesake and focus, Dr. David A. Steenblock.
Not surprisingly, Dr. Steenblock has an impressive track record of not just making correct medical diagnoses, but also in readily spotting misdiagnoses. As a result he has saved many patients from wasting their time and resources treating the wrong problem. I have, in fact, talked with more than a few folks who had Dr. Steenblock go through their medical records and zero in on telltale test or scan results that overturned the diagnosis they had been given, which set the stage for their being properly diagnosed and then successfully treated.
If you have been handed a diagnosis you question, take your case to a first rate diagnostician for a proverbial second opinion. If you’d like to retain Dr. Steenblock for this purpose, he is more than willing and able to lend a helping hand. The Power of Intermittent Hypoxia Therapy
Intermittent Hypoxia Therapy is a powerful therapeutic tool employed by Dr. Steenblock. Among the wondrous effects it has on the human body:
- Increases collateral circulation.
- Boosts the efficiency of the cell’s internal power-producers, the mitochondria.
- Increases the number of mitochondria inside cells.
- Bolsters a patient’s ability to handle stress as well as infections.
These websites will help flesh this out further:
Dr. Steenblock often uses Intermittent Hypoxia Therapy to help mobilize a patient’s own stem cells prior to giving them a stem cell rich bone marrow treatment.
