What to do when old injuries just won’t heal up

What can one do about old injuries that simply have not healed up fully? One solution is platelet-rich plasma or PRP which you can read about by clicking this link: PRP therapy at Dr. Steenblock’s Clinic. Dr. Steenblock has often found that a combination of PRP and injections of a person’s own stem cell-rich bone marrow works wonders with old injuries. However, when a person is over 40 years of age odds are that a great many of his stem cells are senescent; that is, not as robust and as effective as when he was younger. Dr. Steenblock, however, has figured out how to help people overcome this, namely by purging out the old cells using FDA approved stem cell mobilizers — which results in the marrow going to work and producing robust replacement stem cells. This stem cell-rich marrow is then harvested and injected into painful, inflamed joints and tissues. You can learn more about how PRP and autologous (= from self) bone marrow treatments can help your joint issues by talking with Dr. Steenblock  To arrange for your consultation just call 1-800-300-1063

Lung infections and emphysema: New study underscores what Dr. Steenblock has been saying for years!

emphysemaLung infections and emphysema: New study underscores what Dr. Steenblock has been saying for years!

In a Reuter’s article dated 1-11-11 titled “Green or yellow phlegm likely to be bacterial“ reporter Kerry Gren notes  that “…the color of phlegm coughed up by people is indeed a good indicator of whether that person has a bacterial infection..” Interestingly, Dr. Steenblock had this to say about the color of phlegm with respect to COPD (emphysema) in his free report “Improving Emphysema with Stem Cells“:

Infections are a common occurrence in response to irritants and both of these attract different types of destructive white blood cells to the lungs. These white blood cells release a variety of destructive protein digesting substances such as elastase which damage and destroy the lung tissues. These white blood cells are what are causing the chronic cough and expectoration (coughing up) of the yellow, brown, green discolored often smelly thick phlegm in smokers who have emphysema as well as past smokers who will develop the condition. These lung infections must be stopped and never allowed to return if one is going to avoid developing emphysema or halt it if it is already underway. Antibiotics, especially those from the tetracycline family such as vibramycin, doxycycline or even tetracycline itself, are often used though Keflex and other cephalosporins, cipro, bioxin, etc. can be used. In light of this, every smoker or past smoker should have a ready supply of antibiotics at home and begin to take them at the first sign of discolored sputum to stop the destruction of their lung tissues! Many doctors will disagree with this but they are not the ones with the condition, you are!

If you have emphysema you should be asking yourself, “If Dr. Steenblock had the right spin on the connection between the color of phlegm, infections in the lung and COPD right, what other insights is he sitting on that I should know about? That could benefit me? ” You can find out by becoming a patient of Dr. Steenblock’s and then doing a consultation with him.  Just call 1-800-300-1063 and let his friendly front office crew help set things up for you.

Can Chlorella get toxic lead out of your bones?

chlorellaCan Chlorella get toxic lead out of your bones?

In May 2009 the American Academy of Pediatrics reaffirmed a policy statement titled “Lead Exposure in Children: Prevention, Detection, and Management.”  The abstract from this paper states that “Evidence continues to accrue that commonly encountered blood lead concentrations, even those less than 10 µg/dL, may impair cognition, and there is no threshold yet identified for this effect. Most US children are at sufficient risk that they should have their blood lead concentration measured at least once. There is now evidence-based guidance available for managing children with increased lead exposure.” Click to access the full AAP policy paper. This is good advice for young folks today, but what about older folks? Lead picked up during childhood and later on does, after all, generally wind up sequestered in bones. If you grew up in the era before lead-free gasoline or lived in an area where lead exposure was concentrated then you probably have at least some lead stored in your bones (Where it may adversely impact the stem cells produced and housed in your marrow; stem cells that play an important part in keeping you healthy as well as repairing and restoring damaged, diseased or injured tissues.) Naturally, you probably are probably wondering if there is any way to safely remove this from your body. Well, interestingly scientists have found that the common freshwater algae, Chlorella, does this — at least in animals.  It also stimulated the production of a whole host of body friendly chemical (cytokines” such as ”IFN-γ, IL-1α, TNF-α”  as well as “NK (Natural Killer cells) activity in normal mice.”    Click to access study abstract. This comes as no surprise to Dr. David Steenblock who actually wrote a book on Chlorella back in 1988 titled “Chlorella: Natural Medicinal Algae“, and is also an expert on ways to chelate (removed) heavy metals such as lead using i.v. (intravenous) EDTA and other chemicals.  If after reading this you would like to know more about lead in bones, Chlorella, chelation therapy and Dr. Steenblock’s results-driven form of medical practice you are invited to visit www.strokedoctor.com. You can also call 1-800-300-1063 and speak to his knowledgeable, friendly staff who can provide answer many of your questions and/or set up a phone consultation for you with Dr. Steenblock.

America’s Stroke & Stem Cell Doctor

stem cell medical treatmentThe majority of clinics here in the US focus on containing or managing symptoms and not ferreting out and dealing with underlying causes & contributors to a patient’s distress. As a result patients wind up with a drug for each symptom and a host of others to offset the side-effects of these! Dr. David Steenblock, who was originally trained as a pathologist (medical detective), is better equipped than most physicians to zero in on the precise causes & major contributors to each patient’s ill health, and then effectively deal with them. However, rather than rely primarily on pharmaceuticals he favors gentle, natural products that support the body’s own innate healing mechanisms. But, unlike others doing holistic medicine, he possesses a depth of knowledge and experience that is unrivaled in the field. In fact, he set up the very first modern holistic medical practice west of the Mississippi over forty years ago and since then has built up a body of knowledge and insight that truly is unmatched anywhere. In addition, he is a world class authority on how to identify and remove toxic influences & other things that impede or retard each patient’s recovery & restoration. And, being a medical trailblazer by nature, he has created an endless succession of truly novel and highly effective methods for getting healing results, even in people who have failed to respond to the “latest & greatest” that other doctors have tried.  One of his medical innovations is the whole bone marrow transplant in which he harvests a patient’s own stem cell-rich bone marrow and gives it back to them!  If you are wrestling with a medical problem that you’ve been told you must live with, why not find out what Dr. Steenblock can do to kick start your healing?  To nail down your consultation just call 1-800-300-1063.

Don’t let age-related mental decline overtake you

Dr. Steenblock and Stem CellsIn a paper recently published in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings and summarized  by ScienceDaily, neurologist J. Eric Ahlskog a shared this about a Mayo Clinic study on whether exercise helps prevent dementia:

“We culled through all the scientific literature we could find on the subject of exercise and cognition, including animal studies and observational studies, reviewing over 1,600 papers, with 130 bearing directly on this issue. We attempted to put together a balanced view of the subject. We concluded that you can make a very compelling argument for exercise as a disease-modifying strategy to prevent dementia and mild cognitive impairment, and for favorably modifying these processes once they have developed.”

There are many other ways to stave off dementia as well as to thwart age-related cognitive declines. Dr. David Steenblock is well-versed and experienced in artfully figuring out which fits a particular patient’s needs and then introducing them. If you are beginning to experience “old age memory” issues get the help needed to nip the process in the bud: Call Dr. Steenblock. He is offering consultations you can take advantage of by calling 1-800-300-1063.

UT stroke & stem cell study findings parallel those of Dr. Steenblock

Stroke and Stem Cell TreatmentsUT stroke & stem cell study findings parallel those of Dr. Steenblock

“My voice has come back, I couldn’t talk at all and I still sometimes can’t get words out but I’m getting much, much better,” the stroke victim said.

The 67-year-old cosmetics developer is back at work, two months after getting stem cells after her stroke.”

The lady in question was treated as part of an on-going study being conducted by the University of Texas Health Institute which is discussed in this article: Click to access & read.

According to Dr. Dean Savitz, the UT Health scientist who is conducting the study stem cells are harvested from a patient’s bone marrow and then injected into the carotid artery. According to him this ”Stimulate things like new blood vessel formation, the formation of new brain cells, perhaps a reduction in the inflammation that’s occurring after a stroke.”

Does this sound familiar? It should because Dr. David Steenblock has been saying these very things since 2005 when he began using patients own bone marrow to treat both acute & chronic stroke and a host of other medical conditions.

Actually for patients who are able to get to Dr. Steenblock within two weeks of their stroke, he has found that two bone marrow treatments can produce a dramatic improvement when combined with the daily use of hyperbaric oxygen, external counterpulsation, pulsed electromagnetic therapy to the back of the head (which increases blood flow to the upper parts of the brain), brain growth factors, nutritional iv’s, and periodic acceleration therapy. These work together to help move stem cells into the damaged parts of the brain and bolster the growth and activity of the stem cells in the damaged tissues so repair can start immediately. Dr. Steenblock recommends that both acute & chronic stroke patients spend a minimum of TWO TO THREE weeks and preferably six weeks doing therapy in order to increase their odds of obtaining maximum results.

Dr. Steenblock notes that “This combination of synergistic therapies is remarkably good when used soon after a stroke since the blood brain barrier is still damaged and open which makes it easy for stem cells to migrate into damaged areas of the brain while at the same time hyperbaric oxygen is helping remove the swelling which also bolsters the ability of stem cells to get into the brain.”

Why do Stem Cells not work for Everybody?

Stem Cell Treatments

Why do Stem Cells not work for Everybody?

Occasionally a patient who undergoes a stem cell treatment in China, Thailand, Panama and elsewhere will report a lackluster response. So why do some people who do a stem cell treatment find it doesn’t work as they envisioned? Since even aspirin does not work on 100% of users this question is surely rhetorical. Take any drug or product and some who use it will be “disappointed.” This applies to all adult stem cell procedures and stem cell types used.

Dr. David Steenblock, who is both a physician and stem cell expert, has looked in-depth at many of the case histories of those who reported not seeing the type or kind of results they expected, and has found that the underlying reason or “why” appears more-often-than not the fact they have lifestyle and/or bodily issues that are known or strongly suspected to undermine stem cell mobilization, migration, engraftment, growth or proliferation.

Stem Cells age with our Bodies but there are ways to Rejuvenate them

stem cellsStem Cells age with our Bodies but there are ways to Rejuvenate them

As this technical review that appeared in the prestigious journal NATURE signals, the stem cells in our bone marrow and elsewhere lose vitality as we age: “Stem cells, ageing and the quest for immortality” (NATURE review) by Thomas A. Rando.  Part of this is due to the fact the tissue environment (such as the extracellular matrix or ECM) in our bodies is littered with heavy metals, metabolic byproducts and more (Think of your ECM like a field filled with crops and seeds. If the soil becomes littered with impediments to the growth and health of plants then decline and die-off sets in.) Thankfully physician and stem cell expert Dr. Steenblock has come up with ways to revitalize the tissue micro-environment and also purge out old stem cells (which prods the body to replace them with new, healthier ones.) If you’d like to know more about Dr. Steenblock’s rejuvenation program you should: (1) Go to http://www.stemcellmd.org/?page_id=337 and read the posted report; and then (2) call Dr. Steenblock’s Clinic and request a  consultation. ALS: You have to cover all the bases!

ALSALS: You have to cover all the bases!

Many stem cell clinics tackle ALS but fail to deal with things that either contribute to the disease process or else interfer with the activity of stem cells. To list:

(1)Very few stem cell treatment centers take into account the contribution of diet to ALS, as well as dietary measures that support stem cell activity. There are a number of dietary and lifestyle factors that appear to fuel the ALS process. Failure to identify and deal with these is akin to trying to raise a crop of watermelons in an open cesspool.

(2) Treating ALS without identifying and addressing contributory factors and processes such as heavy metals toxicity can compromise a stem cell treatment. For instance, mercury at certain levels kills not only neurons but stem cells as well.

Dr. Steenblock’s approach is geared to (1) prepare a patient’s body to respond vigorously to injected stem cells; (2) identify and deal with dietary, lifestyle and other factors that contribute to the ALS disease process and progression; and (3) remove impediments that tend to compromise patient responses to stem cells as well as stem cell activity in the body. Among the tools and methods which Dr. Steenblock utilizes:

(1) Placing ALS patients on a diet specific to their condition: http://stemcell.md/diets/als_diet.pdf

(2) Chelation therapy to remove toxic heavy metals from the patient’s tissues and organs.

(3) Use of stem cell mobilizers such as all-natural Stemgevity™ and FDA approved stem cell mobilization drugs such as Neupogen® (Filgrastim).

(3) Creation of individualized regimens that include use of leading edge FDA approved stem cell mobilizing devices such as Intermittent Hypoxia Therapy, Periodic Acceleration Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, External counterpulsation and more. You can read more about these on www.strokedoctor.com, and also in the November-December 2010 issue of Dr. Steenblock Clinic newsletter which you can readily access by going to http://stemcell.md/newsletters/nov2010.pdf (Go to page 2, the article titled “How Dr. Steenblock Can Help You Turn the Tables on Aging & Chronic Disease”)
